Hotel Bishop’s House

share

Soak up the atmosphere of the Bishop’s House design hotel, housed in a 16th-century building with an Empire-style façade dating from 1843. It stands on part of the now-demolished Bishop’s Court, of which only the Gothic tower remains today; four of the hotel’s rooms are situated within this tower, the top floor of which is privately owned. Although the hotel is just 60 metres from Charles Bridge and the Lesser Town Bridge Tower, it offers a surprising sense of tranquillity. Prague Castle and Old Town Square are both within a pleasant 20-minute walk. The rooms offer views of the picturesque Lesser Town or the quiet square. The original ceilings in the rooms on the top floor bear witness to the building’s long history.
