The Dvořák Prague International Music Festival is one of the highlights of the Czech capital’s cultural calendar. It is not only a celebration of the musical legacy of Antonín Dvořák, the Czech Republic’s most internationally renowned composer, but also a major social event that brings leading soloists, conductors, prestigious international orchestras, and chamber ensembles to Prague every year. The twentieth edition of the festival will take place from 6 to 27 September 2027 and will feature a programme organized into traditional thematic series that present Dvořák’s work in a broader context. World-class orchestras, acclaimed conductors, and outstanding soloists combine to create one of the most prestigious classical music events in Central Europe. The festival’s main venue is the Rudolfinum, where Antonín Dvořák conducted the Czech Philharmonic’s inaugural concert on 4 January 1896.
