Dvořák Prague Festival 2026 — Closing concert

Gil Shaham, a favorite of festival audiences, and one of today’s most distinguished female conductors will bring this year’s festival to a close with the festival’s resident orchestra. The evening will open with Bohuslav Martinů’s brilliant overture, followed by Prokofiev’s thrilling Violin Concerto No. 2. Dvořák’s lyrical Suite in A Major will bring a sense of calm and melodiousness, while the finale will showcase the captivating color and dramatic charm of Stravinsky’s The Firebird.
