share

National Gallery Prague — Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia

The youthful energy of this top-tier Czech wind ensemble, combined with Miroslav Sekera’s pianistic mastery, infuses this familiar repertoire with unexpected freshness. The Alinde Quintet, winner of the prestigious ARD Competition, presents a program in which the lightness of Poulenc’s Sextet and Jongen’s Concerto meet Dvořák’s Piano Quintet No. 2 in an original arrangement for wind instruments. This famous work will thus be heard in new, colorful shades.
