Enjoy your coffee Prague-style! This delightful espresso cup and saucer feature Cubist geometric shapes and angular structures. While Cubism emerged in Paris around 1910, Prague was the only city where it heavily influenced applied arts and architecture, alongside fine art.

Our elegant porcelain set in white and beige is an authorized replica of the 1911 cup and saucer designed by Pavel Janák, the eminent architect, professor, and theoretician. Its refined 21st-century motif was inspired by the iconic 1913 Prague street lamp designed by architect Emil Králíček. Today, the world’s only functioning Cubist lamppost still stands in Prague's Jungmann Square.

Epitomizing exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design, this set is perfect for elevating your coffee ritual or gifting as a unique keepsake.

The set was licensed for reproduction and created exclusively for the City of Prague by Modernista.
