The history of the Modřany Cinema dates back to 1919, when, under the name Bio Lido, it was one of the first brick-and-mortar cinemas in the area that is now Prague. Today, as well as a single-screen retro cinema, you’ll also find a bistro with an outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy a hot or cold meal or some snacks to go with your beer before or after the film. The programme features new movies and classics, children’s films and screenings for seniors. The venue also hosts talks, concerts and other cultural events.
