overview opening hours This small white church near the Strašnická metro station, also known as Bethlehem Chapel, is a house of prayer of the Evangelical Methodist Church. The building, designed by architect Rudolf Sandholz, was completed in August 1924. The simple, single-nave chapel bears elements of late Cubism, rational Kotěra Modernism and Art Deco. Above the portal is an inscription with the Hebrew name Beth-el (House of God). The original single-storey extension at the rear of the building was replaced in the 1990s by a four-storey extension, and in addition to an apartment for the vicar, there were other rooms used for gatherings of children and adults. opening hours The chapel is open every Wednesday from 14:00 to 18:00.
