Anděl Pedestrian Zone

The area in front of the entrance to Anděl metro station is occasionally used to host cultural and culinary events and markets. Throughout the year, it is one of the busiest places in Prague, with a tram junction. It is also the starting point for shopping at the nearby Nový Smíchov shopping centre. The pedestrian zone is dominated by the Zlatý Anděl office complex, designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel.
