Prague Summer Nights invites audiences to a gala orchestral evening in the Smetana Hall of Prague’s Municipal House. The program features the overture to Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Rachmaninoff’s virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 2 performed by pianist Dmitry Yudin, and Dvořák’s celebrated Symphony No. 9 “From the New World.” Under the baton of John Nardolillo, the festival orchestra will be joined by musicians from the Czech Philharmonic, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Prague Philharmonia. The evening’s concertmaster will be Borika van den Booren of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
