Pianist Nikolay Medvedev will make his Prague debut, presenting Czech audiences with FUSIONS, a program that brings together the classical piano tradition with jazz rhythms, energy, and the spirit of improvisation. Through works by George Gershwin, Nikolai Kapustin, and Earl Wild, Medvedev will showcase not only his remarkable technical virtuosity, but also his affinity for music that lies at the intersection of these two musical worlds. The concert, to be held in the Bohuslav Martinů Hall at the Liechtenstein Palace, follows the recent release of Medvedev’s album of the same name. It will introduce an artist who has been attracting increasing attention from European concert stages and international critics alike in recent years.
