A celebration of the Day of the Dead with masks, dancing, and music. This colorful festival in Mexico, held every year between October 31 and November 2, celebrates the afterlife of those who have left the world of the living. Unlike our All Souls’ Day, it is not a somber occasion — quite the opposite. During the Day of the Dead festivities, the souls of the dead are welcomed. The celebration of the Mexican Day of the Dead, Día de Muertos, in Prague will traditionally take place at the Holešovice Market, this year on Thursday, November 5.
