The jubilee exhibition of painter Jan Rapin, titled ELEGANCE, organized in collaboration with the SOCHÁRIUM Gallery on the occasion of his 70th birthday, presents the most comprehensive survey of the artist’s work to date. The exhibition is divided into two parts – the ground-floor gallery will feature works from the past ten years, while the Tower Gallery will be arranged into thematic sections across its individual floors. Visitors will pass through the Gentlemen’s Lounge, enter the Gentlemen’s Club, find themselves in the Hall of Music and Dance, and also gain insight into the artist’s studio. The exhibition invites visitors into a world of paintings in which elegance and feminine beauty become central motifs, permeating the artist’s entire body of work. The paintings are sensitively complemented by sculptures by artists who also engage with this theme, including Zdeněk Legner, Barbora Fausová, and the late legendary Vítězslav Odstrčil. date and time Tue—Sun 10:00—18:00
