International Guitar Orchestra Meeting will bring musicians from the Czech Republic, Belgium, and France to Prague’s (New Town Hall). The concert will feature performances by the individual ensembles as well as specially formed international orchestras composed of players of different nationalities. The highlight of the evening will be a joint performance by nearly 80 guitarists, creating one large European guitar orchestra. The programme will showcase the tradition of guitar orchestras in a European context and offer Czech audiences a unique opportunity to discover both international ensembles and this lesser-known type of musical ensemble.
