The Czech Tour stage cycling race is the most significant, largest, and traditionally best-fielded international road race in the Czech Republic. Some of the world’s most successful cyclists, including Primož Roglič, Julian Alaphilippe, and Simon Yates, have lined up at the start of the Czech Tour in the past. This year, the race will travel across the Czech Republic and will be held for the first time in the elite UCI ProSeries category, once again starting in Prague. This year’s edition promises to feature the most challenging route in the race’s history. Four stages across the country will cover more than 650 kilometers and nearly 10,000 meters of elevation gain, including the first-ever finish at the iconic Ještěd and mountain finishes at Dlouhé Stráně and Pustevny. For the first time, the race is part of the prestigious UCI ProSeries, which will bring a stronger field of riders featuring top teams from the world stage and will boost its international prestige and level of competition. There will also be television broadcasts to dozens of countries around the world and a rich supporting program in the start and finish cities, thanks to which not only cycling fans but also the general public will be able to enjoy the Czech Tour.
