Czech Philharmonic — Season Opening Concerts

The opening concerts of the Czech Philharmonic’s 131st season promise an extraordinary musical experience performed by world-class artists. Under the direction of chief conductor Semyon Bychkov, the program will feature Dmitri Shostakovich’s dramatic First Violin Concerto with artist-in-residence Janine Jansen, as well as Antonín Dvořák’s supreme symphonic opus, his Seventh Symphony — a work in which, according to the conductor, the composer’s unique personality is fully realized.
