From 6 to 12 November 2026, the Aussie & Kiwi Film Fest will showcase the best of contemporary Australian and New Zealand cinema, offering audiences a unique insight into the culture, society, and landscapes of the South Pacific. Celebrating its 13th edition this year, the festival will take place at Prague's Lucerna, Edison Filmhub, and Ponrepo cinemas. Through a selection of contemporary feature films, documentaries, student productions, and short films, the festival aims to present Australia and New Zealand as multicultural countries with rich histories and strong traditions rooted in Indigenous cultures. The programme highlights that these nations are far more than the land of beaches, surfers, and crocodiles often portrayed in popular culture.
