Focusing this year on intimacy, closeness and human relationships, the festival will present award-winning VR installations, interactive experiences and works featured at the Venice Film Festival from 10 to 15 November at DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, Prague Planetarium and Signal Space Gallery. The programme will also include world premieres, fulldome screenings and opportunities to meet the creators.

The festival returns to the dome of Prague Planetarium with a competition of ten fulldome films. In the Korean experimental work Biche 1, presented in its European premiere, the dome transforms into a giant breast. The animated film Flow by Adriaan Lokman will have its world premiere; its VR version received the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. Outside the competition, the voice of Viggo Mortensen will guide audiences through Dark Biosphere, a film exploring microorganisms that survive in acidic lakes and deep beneath the Earth’s surface.

Tickets for screenings at Prague Planetarium are available via the Planetum website.
