In the quiet setting of the Monastery of St. Agnes of Bohemia, the renowned Alinde Quintet will perform its chamber music program. The evening will combine masterpieces by Antonín Rejcha, Gustav Holst, and Maurice Ravel with Ferdinand Engelmüller’s painting Cemetery with Cypress Trees, whose melancholic atmosphere finds particular resonance in Ravel’s Tombeau de Couperin. The concert will also feature an introductory lecture on the painting on display.
