On October 21, AIGEL will perform in Prague as part of the band’s 10th anniversary tour. AIGEL is an electronic duo consisting of Tatar poet and singer Aigel Gaisina and St. Petersburg producer Ilya Baramiya. Today, they are one of the most distinctive independent acts on the Eastern European music scene. For the past decade, their music has blended trip-hop, electronica, and psychedelia into a hypnotic sound that transcends linguistic and cultural boundaries. AIGEL perform in Russian, Tatar, English, and German. The duo gained international recognition with the viral hits Tatarin and Pyyala, the latter topping streaming charts in 25 countries and reaching No. 1 on the global Shazam chart. Over the years, AIGEL have released five albums and dozens of singles, won a Cannes Lion for their prophetic music video You’re Born, and toured extensively around the world. Now based in Europe, the duo is preparing a special anniversary show for Prague, promising a powerful electronic sound and Aigel’s tender yet deeply expressive vocals.
