The beautifully decorated Old Town Bridge Tower was built as a symbolical entrance to an imperial Prague: the Prague Castle skyline. Legend has it that only the pure and fair were able to spot five stone kingfishers on the façade, all at once. Kingfisher representing love & fidelity is the symbol of the tower.

It was manufactured by Bohemia Paper. The family-owned paper making and printing company is one of the last manufacturers in Europe to use interwar methods of paper making and engraving.
