The vineyard slope at the entrance to the park on Vítkov hill from Tachovské náměstí was established in 2019 as a new fragment of the cultural landscape within the park. It is also a fresh reminder of how the southern slopes of Vítkov were used for growing grapes throughout history, since the time of Charles IV in fact, as can be seen from the surviving vedutas. The vineyard is a mound sloping steeply up above the cycle path, with a unique view of the old parts of Žižkov. It covers an area of some 1,340 m2 and is planted with 686 heads of table and cider vines grown up six to seven rows of acacia poles. The slope is protected by a fence for cultivation reasons. The grape varieties grown there are Merzling — white, Souvignier gris — rosé and Rondo — red. The fact that they are not demanding in terms of environmental conditions or chemicals means that these varieties are highly ecological.
