overview opening hours about the place The Baroque complex was built between 1704 to 1730on the site of the Battle of White Mountain. The central pilgrimage site comprises a church with a cross-shaped floor plan with a central shrine, surrounded by a cloister with chapels and a convent of Benedictine nuns. The three cupolas of the church dedicated to Our Lady Victorious feature impressive frescoes by three artists — Cosmas Damian Asam, Václav Vavřinec Reiner, and Johann Adam Schöpf. The design of the church dome, cloisters and corner chapels is probably the work of Jan Blažej Santini Aichel. The initiator and leader of the patrons financing the construction was Prague painter Kristián Luna. more about the place opening hours january—december mon closed tue—sun 10:00—18:30 We offer guided tours both for individuals and groups in Czech and German (needs to be arranged in advance) or the possibility to see the premises of the pilgrimage site with your own guide or a guidebook in Czech, in English or German. more about opening hours opening hours january—december mon closed tue—sun 10:00—18:30 We offer guided tours both for individuals and groups in Czech and German (needs to be arranged in advance) or the possibility to see the premises of the pilgrimage site with your own guide or a guidebook in Czech, in English or German. regular roman catholic masses Sun 11:00 Thu 17:00
