overview about the place The historical vineyard “Grébovka” is what remains of the extensive vineyards founded by Charles IV in the 14th century, at which time they covered the entirety of today’s Havlíčkovy sady park. In the Viniční altán you’ll find a wine restaurant with wine samples direct from the Grébovka Vineyard. In the Grébovka Pavilion is a café which serves as a popular venue for weddings. In addition, the vineyards encompass the new Wine cellar building, where local grapes have been processed since 2009. The traditional Czech varieties, such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, Riesling or Müller-Thurgau, have in recent years been joined by the modern varieties of Hibernal, Dornfelder and Neronet.
