The Quadrio shopping centre is located in the very centre of Prague, above the Národní třída metro station (Line B). Thanks to this unique location, it is an ideal place not only for daily shopping but also for relaxation, meeting, and discovering the modern urban atmosphere. Quadrio offers more than 60 shops, restaurants, and services, spread over four floors. An entire floor is dedicated to the “gastro zone”, where visitors can enjoy a wide selection of food and drinks — from fast food and cafés to sit-down restaurants. This area is an ideal place for a break during shopping as well as for pleasant meetups with friends. Facilities such as restrooms and other practical services are available to tourists and city residents alike, making the time spent in the city centre more pleasant. A significant landmark is the iconic, almost eleven-meter-tall moving sculpture of Franz Kafka’s head by David Černý, which has become a symbol of the place and one of the most visited works of art in the centre of Prague. This theme is continued by the gallery inside the shopping centre, where works by young artists inspired by the books of Franz Kafka are exhibited. The unique experience is further enhanced by the magnificent view of the sculpture directly from Quadrio’s first food floor. Quadrio is thus not just a modern shopping gallery but also a vibrant urban space that connects shopping, gastronomy, culture, and architecture right in the heart of Prague.
