Velká jižní věž katedrály

The panorama of Prague Castle is dominated by the almost 100 meters high Great South Tower of St. Vitus Cathedral. The construction of the tower was started by the architect Peter Parler already at the end of the 14th century, however, it was not completed until the Neo-Gothic reconstruction of the cathedral at the end of the 19th century. The climb of more than 280 steps presents 7 bells, among them the largest bell in the Czech Republic — Zikmund, from 1549. After conquering almost 300 steps, you will be rewarded with a unique view of the capital and Prague Castle complex.
