overview opening hours admission Above the confluence of the Elbe and Vltava rivers and a slope covered with vineyards lies Mělník Chateau, whose current appearance is the result of a thousand years of development, from a Romanesque and Gothic castle of Bohemian duchesses and queens to the Renaissance and Baroque chateau of noblemen. During a tour of the chateau interiors, you can see the art collections of the Mělník branch of the Lobkowicz dynasty and the Gothic chapel dedicated to St. Ludmila. A popular part of any visit to Mělník Chateau is a tour of the wine cellars with optional tastings of wines from the Lobkowicz winery. The surface area of the cellars is 1,500 m², and the constant temperature in them ranges between 8-12° C. opening hours april mon—tue closed wed—fri 10:00—17:00 sat 10:00—18:00 sun 10:00—17:00 may—june mon closed tue—fri 10:00—17:00 sat 9:30—18:00 sun 9:30—17:00 july—august mon closed tue—fri 9:00—17:00 sat—sun 9:00—18:00 september mon closed tue—fri 10:00—16:00 sat—sun 9:00—17:00 october mon closed tue—fri 9:00—17:00 sat—sun 9:00—18:00 more about opening hours admission basic 190 CZK reduced seniors over 65 150 CZK family 2 adults + 2 children 480 CZK more about admission Source: lobkowicz-melnik.cz; www.melnik.cz admission basic 190 CZK reduced seniors over 65 150 CZK family 2 adults + 2 children 480 CZK full admission price list tours Tour duration 60 minutes. opening hours april mon—tue closed wed—fri 10:00—17:00 sat 10:00—18:00 sun 10:00—17:00 may—june mon closed tue—fri 10:00—17:00 sat 9:30—18:00 sun 9:30—17:00 july—august mon closed tue—fri 9:00—17:00 sat—sun 9:00—18:00 september mon closed tue—fri 10:00—16:00 sat—sun 9:00—17:00 october mon closed tue—fri 9:00—17:00 sat—sun 9:00—18:00
