Löwitův mlýn

The Great Mill, also called the Löwit Mill, is an important cultural monument of Libeň to the west of the Libeň Château. The mill was first mentioned in 1595. It is currently being transformed into a multifunctional space called “A Stop at the Mill”. It is a joint project of the Velký mlýn association, the Prague Municipal Library and the Czech Radio Broadcasting Corporation. The ground floor is dedicated to live culture - concerts, meetings and lectures, loosely connected to the café, which can also make use of the adjacent courtyard in the summer. Plans are for the attic to be used as an exhibition space and gallery. The Great Mill facility is operated year-round, while the accessibility of individual spaces depends on the season and planned activities.
