The first record of the Kellerka spring, which was located under the farmstead of the same name and rose up in the vineyard, on the border of Libeň and Prosek, on Nebeské hory below the Church of St. Wenceslas, dates back to ancient times. The vineyard, like most of the now defunct ones in Vysočany and Libeň above the Rokytka River, was created in the 14th century by King Charles IV’s famous decree. That declared that vineyards could be established on all available land within three miles of the capital. The founders of the vineyards were then rewarded by being exempted from paying taxes for twelve years. However, the era of great prosperity was followed by times of war. The country was ravaged by the Hussite invasions and the Thirty Years' War. The original farmstead was finally burned down in a fire in 1868. The vineyard then ceased to exist in the early twentieth century. In 2018, at the initiative of a private investor, the Kelerka vineyard was restored on an area of just under three hectares, and planted with five grape varieties.
