overview about the place The Huss Congregation House, a church of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, is a distinctive landmark of Zbraslav. It was constructed between 1938 and 1939 by rebuilding a former granary based on a design by architect Stanislav Vachata. The 30-metre tower is topped with an octagon bearing a symbolic chalice. The interior of the church is particularly interesting for its Renaissance organ and portable Renaissance altar, originally created for the monastery church of St. James. Part of the building is a columbarium where the remains of the important Czech painter and graphic artist Maxmilián Pirner are kept. more about the place Regular services of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church: 9:30 on Sundays and church holidays
