Small in stature, but not in importance. The Classicist chapel with its prismatic tower stands in a small enclave of houses left over from the former village of Nové Strašnice, founded around the year 1781 about a kilometre from Staré Strašnice. The chapel was built in 1900 by Josef Červenka, a builder and mayor of Strašnice, in memory of his wife Antonia, who died after contracting a disease while nursing students during the student riots of 1848.
