The entrance is located opposite the entrance to the Ztracenka gardens; it’s also accessible from Karlova or Slupi Horskou streets, or from Folimanka Park via a newly created passageway through the walls up an iron spiral staircase. Folimanka Park and the passageway are closed at night.

history

Bastion U Božích muk (Bastion at Calvary), which is marked with the Roman numeral XXXI, was established when the original Gothic fortifications were rebuilt in Baroque style. The construction of the New Town fortifications was directly connected with the founding of the New Town by Charles IV in 1348; the walls were rebuilt at the turn of the 18th century.
On the site of demolished buildings from the 19th century, the Prague 2 town hall built a new building which is set directly into the terrain. From one side it is set into the terrain, and the other side forms the ground floor, where the restaurant is located.
