The Refectory of the Dominican Monastery is located in the very heart of Prague, just a few steps from Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. The hall acquired its present appearance during the early Baroque reconstruction, authored by the Italian Baroque architect, painter, and sculptor Carlo Lurago. Given the hall’s primary function as a dining room, biblical and legendary scenes with the motif of food predominate in the frescoes. This authentic historical space, with its 17th-century atmosphere, offers an ideal setting for concerts, corporate events, banquets, training sessions, conferences, ceremonial receptions, wedding receptions, and birthday celebrations, accompanied by classical or jazz music. It is a beautiful, peaceful place in the city centre that breathes the atmosphere of Baroque Prague.
