18 August is Pinot Noir Day, and Prague won’t be left out of the celebrations. The cultivation of Pinot Noir (Rulandské modré) has a long-standing tradition in Prague, thriving exceptionally well in the city’s local conditions. It’s no surprise that it is one of the key grape varieties grown in the St. Clare’s Vineyard (Vinice sv. Kláry). To mark International Pinot Noir Day, visitors can enjoy a free mini-tasting of four different expressions of Pinot Noir from the St. Clare’s Vineyard.
