The early Baroque Nostic Palace in Malá Strana is considered one of the most beautiful ministry buildings in the world. It is a listed cultural monument protected by law. Once again this year, the Ministry of Culture invites the public to visit this remarkable site, which will be exceptionally open for the annual Open Day, held on the public holiday of 28 September 2025. Visitors will have the chance to explore the palace’s representative halls, now used for conferences and official events, the Minister of Culture’s office — notable for its unusual location and architectural design — the palace gallery featuring remarkable works by Old Masters, the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and a view through glass into the famous Nostic entailed library. Tours will be self-guided. Free admission.
