The Mezipatra Queer Film Festival is a specialized competitive festival focused on films with gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, and queer themes. Each year, it presents approximately one hundred Czech and international films that reflect the diversity of LGBTQ+ experiences and the work of their creators. The program includes a prestigious international competition in which films are evaluated by a panel of experts. However, the festival is not just about screenings — a rich accompanying program featuring discussions, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, and evening parties also plays an integral role. Come experience cinema that breaks down barriers and connects audiences across generations. This year marks the 27th edition of Mezipatra.

Unless otherwise noted, all films will be screened in their original language with Czech and English subtitles. Czech-language films will be screened with English subtitles, and English-language films with Czech subtitles.

The festival takes place annually in several cinemas in Prague and Brno. Some films are also screened in other cities across the Czech Republic as part of “Ozvěny Mezipater.” The festival is a non-profit event dedicated to the empowerment of sexual minorities in the Czech Republic and the promotion of high-quality films with humanistic themes.
