Jewish Museum in Prague — Spanish Synagogue

The second evening of the "Věčná Naděje" festival invites listeners to the unique setting of the Spanish Synagogue, one of Prague's most impressive historical interiors. On March 7, this architectural gem will host a program dedicated to music by composers associated with the Terezín ghetto—Pavel Haas, Viktor Ullmann, and Erwin Schulhoff—supplemented by works by Rudolf Friml and the world premiere of the winning composition of the festival competition. The evening will feature internationally renowned tenor Jan Petryka, pianist Johanna Haniková, and Vienna's Ineo Quartet, who will together offer an exceptionally impressive dialogue between the past and the present.
