The Czech Design Week festival of contemporary design will take place from 11th to 14th September 2025, unveiling design trends not only in the Mánes Exhibition Hall, but also for the second year in a row at the Clam-Gallas Palace. For the first time, the festival will also expand into the public space of the city, with the legendary Café Slavia joining the programme. While Mánes will showcase panel exhibitions and design innovations from creators, students, brands, and studios, Clam-Gallas Palace will host exhibitions across the entire venue, blending design and art. The festival offers a unique overview of current developments in design, along with a daily accompanying programme that focuses on timely issues resonating within the design and cultural spheres. As in previous years, Czech Design Week’s side programme will feature thematic lectures, discussions, screenings, and gatherings that connect design with pressing issues of our time — from artificial intelligence and the role of art in public space, to exploring how design can be a means of caring for society and for ourselves.
