On Saturday, January 31, the Ctěnice Castle grounds will come alive with traditional Carnival celebrations and feasting. Visitors can look forward to an authentic Czech pig slaughter, jugglers, stilt walkers, and a Carnival parade full of masks and good cheer. The wonderful HORAČKY folk ensemble will be back, along with a pig slaughter feast organized by the Hudera and son butcher shop, playful elements from the Sládkovna traveling game room, a juggling school and performance by the Chůdadlo association, a puppet fairy tale by the LokVar theater, and stands with delicious treats.
