Christmas Stroll at Prague Castle

If you wish to experience true Christmas atmosphere, visit Prague Castle. The Christmas programme includes three stops and two buildings that are not open to the public: Holy Cross Chapel and Mocker Houses. In cooperation with Forman Brothers Theatre.

The journey begins on a terrace of the Prague Castle Riding Hall with a magical forest of forty trees from Lány Castle Reserve. Visitors will meet a shepherd of Bethlehem in the labyrinth.
In the decorated interiors of the Chapel of the Holy Cross, enjoy a landscape of Behtlehem and nativity scene by the Forman Brothers Theater.
Creative workshops are available in Mocker Houses. The structures, left unused for years, will be open to the public in the afternoons.

Every Sunday of Advent at 2 pm, Christmas carols will sound at the Golden Portal, Prague Castle Third Courtyard. The Band of the Castle Guard and Police of the Czech Repubolic will perform a Christmas program in front of St Vitus Cathedral, followed by students from Prague’s elementary art schools.
