On Friday, May 1, 2026, the eleventh annual First Beer May event will take place at the Břevnov Monastery in Prague 6, showcasing the production of Czech and Moravian microbreweries. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste approximately 80 types of beer on tap from twenty selected breweries, complemented by an offer of Moravian wines. The program will include competitions in beer drinking and holding a full beer mug, a lecture on the history of beer brewing, and a musical performance by guitarist Petr Kadlček and his guests. There will be stands offering a wide range of refreshments and facilities for children, including a bumper car track, a carousel, and a bouncy castle.
