KodlContemporary is pleased to present Timeline, an exhibition bringing Czech artist František Kupka’s monumental series of drawings, L’Homme et la Terre (Man and Earth) (1904–1907) together with works by a cohort of international artists. Conceived by French curator Nicolas Bourriaud, with Barbara Lagié, the exhibition expands on the cross-cultural dialogue between the French geographer Élisée Reclus and Kupka in the early twentieth century, coalescing theory and image. Kupka’s drawings are situated within a global lineage of contemporary practices, inviting reflections on evolving social structures and ecological thought. Timeline is on view from 9 April to 7 June 2026, and will be accompanied by an extensive catalogue with texts by the curators and an essay by art historian Markéta Theinhardt.
