The project focuses on the cycles of the female body and the delicate balance between growth and decline, revelation and concealment, vulnerability and resilience, exploring the topic of yeast infections, medically common but often viewed as taboo. Chaeyeon Kang (b.1999) is exploring the fragile intersection of body, memory, and digital-physical hybridity. Working across printmaking, and experimental media, she investigates cycles of vulnerability and resilience through her own female bodily experiences and mixes with virtual female bodies.
