At that moment, Libuše stepped to the very edge of the ramparts, stretched out her hands towards the wooded hills on the opposite bank of the Vltava River, and prophesied: “I see a great and beautiful city whose fame will one day touch the stars. In the forest, there is a place where you will find a man carving the threshold of his house. Have a strong castle built there and name it Prague. And just as all princes and kings bow their heads before the threshold of a house, so too will even the most powerful one day bow before the castle and the town that will rise beneath it.” Based on the book 77 pražských legend by Alena Ježková (77 Prague Legends).
