British guitarist, composer, and producer Stuart McCallum will perform solo for the very first time at Jazz Dock. At the concert, he will present his new EP, A Quiet Gathering, which straddles the boundaries of jazz, folk, and ambient music and focuses on an intimate atmosphere, spatial sound, and a focused listening experience. McCallum, known for his work with projects such as The Cinematic Orchestra, The Breath, and Slowly Rolling Camera, is among those musicians who have long combined the jazz tradition with contemporary approaches to sound.
