The Prague Pride LGBT+ festival is a major part of Prague’s cultural summer. Its 16th edition will take place from August 3 to 9, 2026, under the theme “Times Are Changing,” which reflects societal transformations as well as an emphasis on human rights and civic engagement. The festival will once again provide a space for people to come together regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity and will address both current and previously taboo topics. The program traditionally includes a wide range of cultural and social events, public discussions, debates, sporting and spiritual gatherings, and also welcomes international guests. The highlight of the week is Saturday’s Rainbow Parade through Prague, which this year will follow a modified route through the historic center and will end, for the first time, on Štvanice Island, where Pride Park will take place. The parade will once again set out from the lower part of Wenceslas Square and proceed along Na Příkopě and Celetná streets, through Old Town Square, and onto Pařížská Street. From there, the parade will turn onto Dvořák Embankment and head along the river via Ludvík Svoboda Embankment to Hlávkův Bridge, from where it will continue to Štvanice Island. More
