The evening, conducted by Tomáš Netopil, will bring together two extraordinary works of the 20th century. First, Jan Hanuš’s energetic Sinfonia Concertante will be performed, featuring striking solo parts for organ and harp played by Daniela Valtová Kosinová and Kateřina Englichová. The second half of the program will feature Mahler’s monumental Das Lied von der Erde (The Song of the Earth), a profound musical meditation on the beauty of life, transience, and reconciliation, performed by world-renowned singers Karen Cargill and Simon O’Neill, accompanied by the Prague Symphony Orchestra.
