The Prague International DesignBlok Festival is the largest design and fashion show in Central and Eastern Europe. Every year, it presents the work of more than two hundred independent authors, design studios and established brands and shows the most interesting of contemporary product, interior and fashion design. The exhibitions are accompanied by an extensive program of lectures, discussions, expert meetings and fashion shows. Dozens of galleries, showrooms, pop-ups and shops across Prague traditionally participate in the festival events, preparing their own thematic events and installations for visitors. The exhibitions at DesignBlok are divided into Superstudio and Openstudio. Superstudio is a space for exhibitions of companies, manufacturers and shops. All areas of design are presented here, but especially furniture, lighting and home accessories. Openstudio is a space for exhibitions of designers, design studios and schools.
