The Prague Botanical Garden is organising the third edition of the Crystal Garden exhibition. The winter exhibition will be transformed into a unique gallery of contemporary glass art and the visual arts in general. From 27 November 2026 to 14 February 2027, glass flowers, sculptures and large-scale art installations will appear amongst the living plants. Alongside the work of master glassmaker Jiří Pačinek and his son Jiří Pačinek Jr., this year’s exhibition will also feature sculptor Michal Trpák, glassmaker Ondřej Novotný and Dutch artist Hans van Bentem. Another new feature will be the light installations by Preciosa Lighting. The exhibition will be complemented by evening lighting, musical compositions by the Prague Philharmonia and a new video projection created in collaboration with students from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. The cultural significance of the event will once again be underlined by the patronage of the Czech National Commission for UNESCO.
