Disrupted Horizon presents a cross section of paintings on the border between construction and disintegration. Fragments of construction sites, landscapes, and ruins come together to form images in which reality is slightly skewed. In the background a sense of disorientation emerges—the moment when faith wanes, leaving nothing but silent wandering through the space between what remains unfinished and what has already ceased to exist. Alexey Klyuykov (*1983, Vladimir, RU) is an artist and illustrator. He has long collaborated with Vasil Artamonov, and as a duo they won the 2010 Jindřich Chalupecký Award.
