The exhibition is based on the phenomenon of an event, a fragile but decisive moment when the usual flow of everyday life is suddenly interrupted and something else enters ordinary reality. Each painting functions as a small intervention, where a subtle crack appears in familiar scenes, through which another dimension becomes visible. This concept resonates deeply with the spirit of Prague, a city of mystical modernism, where architecture, history, and artistic traditions connect the real with the unreal. Kartashov's works build on the legacy of Czech surrealism and Prague's alchemical imagination, transforming the gallery space into a place where reality intersects with mystery for a moment.
